We are seeking a Director of Business Development & Strategy to lead and execute our growth strategy, acquisition efforts, and corporate strategic planning. This individual will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to identify new business opportunities, evaluate potential acquisitions, and drive strategic initiatives across Pinnacle’s expanding network. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, experience in M&A transactions, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth and operational efficiencies.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Scottsdale, AZ.

About The Role
We are seeking a Director of Business Development & Strategy to lead and execute our growth strategy, acquisition efforts, and corporate strategic planning. This individual will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to identify new business opportunities, evaluate potential acquisitions, and drive strategic initiatives across Pinnacle’s expanding network. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, experience in M&A transactions, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth and operational efficiencies.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Scottsdale, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate new acquisition opportunities, conducting market research and financial modeling.
- Define strategic, financial, and operational criteria for acquisition focus and business expansion.
- Conduct outreach to potential acquisition targets, presenting Pinnacle’s value proposition and performing preliminary due diligence.
- Prepare investment materials for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and lenders.
- Lead and coordinate the due diligence process, working closely with legal, financial, and operational teams.
- Support the transition and integration of new acquisitions, ensuring alignment with Pinnacle’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Market CEOs to develop and implement corporate and market-level strategic plans.
- Create projections for new service offerings and assess financial feasibility.
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure resources are budgeted, and strategic initiatives are executed effectively.
- Travel to clinics, partners, and industry events to support M&A activities and strategic planning.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services, consulting (restructuring), M&A investment banking, or private equity.
- Experience in the fertility or healthcare industry preferred.
- Prior business development or business integration experience preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Hourly Rate: Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
