Job Overview :
The Sr Director of Business Development and Strategy will be responsible for driving the TurbineAero Repair’s growth through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and new market opportunities. This individual will lead business development efforts, develop long-term strategies to achieve sustainable business success, and build strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders. The role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Aerospace APU MRO market, customer needs, and competitive landscape, paired with the ability to think analytically and execute initiatives efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning and Execution : Lead the development of business strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and vision. Identify emerging market trends, business opportunities, and competitive threats. Collaborate with the leadership team to set the long-term strategic direction for the company. Drive initiatives to expand into new markets and verticals, including assessing risks and resource requirements.
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients, and partners. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies. Provide oversight of the onboarding of new customers and products.
- Market Research & Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to assess customer needs, competitor landscape, and emerging trends. Provide insights and recommendations for product and service enhancements based on customer and market feedback. Use data-driven analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth areas.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration : Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of business development efforts with the overall company strategy. Build strong internal relationships to ensure smooth execution of strategies and initiatives.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on progress, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ensure that business development efforts contribute to long-term profitability and growth.
