Pinnacle Health & Rehab at North Berwick is seeking an experienced part time Speech Language Therapist to join our therapy team.

- Meet with the Interdisciplinary team, residents and families as needed
- Discuss therapy procedures and equipment with resident
- Under a physician's order, performs therapy within scope of practice
- Evaluates current cognitive, communicative and swallowing status and develops individualized/measurable treatment goals and interventions as appropriate to resident's condition, diagnosis, and response to treatment.
- Plans and implements a comprehensive and individualized speech/language pathology treatment plan.
- Instructs resident and caregivers to assist in achieving treatment goals.
- Terminates treatment as appropriate in relation to resident's condition, diagnosis, functional performance, outcome expectations and discharge criteria.
- Maintain resident record and documentation.
- Communicates frequently and effectively with others involved in the resident's care including, treatment plans, progress, and discharge planning.
- Graduation from an approved program of speech, hearing science and language development.
- Must hold valid Maine State licensure in Speech/Language Pathology Services.
- Experience in areas of adult neurological communicative disorders with emphasis in aphasiology and dysphagia rehabilitation preferred.
