Project Manager | Exhibits, Events | Woodridge, IL

We are recruiting for a Project Manager to work in our Woodridge, IL facility. Our PMs manage multiple projects with a wide range of scope and deliverables. Projects include tradeshow, events, activations, permanent installations, all kinds of experiential work. They provide engineering solutions and help figure out ways to meet a challenge like, "How are we gonna build a windmill for this activation in seven days?"

Some nuts and bolts about the job :

• Work with project teams to provide value engineering solutions, specify material, hardware, electrical / lighting specifications and building techniques
• Move projects through their timeline, budget, and deliverables. Get to YES!
• Create and maintain a flexible and evolving production schedule and overall project budget
• Maintain work orders through lifecycle of project for accuracy, intended expectation, execution and final quality assurance
• Create and maintain change orders, keep all documentation in order
• Facilitate and host meetings with project teams, act as information liaison between all team members
• Develop a robust external vendor network
• Manage external vendors; provide drawings, check quality, manage output and schedules
• Travel for on-site inspection and supervision as needed
