Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes and night audits.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Train and mentor front desk staff on best practices in hospitality management and guest services.
- Manage phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while handling reservations and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience and address any special requests or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism at the front desk.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk role is required; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in using phone systems and managing multiple lines effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is advantageous but not mandatory.
