Key Responsibilities of the HR Director
Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s business goals and growth initiatives.
Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational design.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the company.
Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent in the food manufacturing industry.
Design and manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated effectively.
Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and succession planning.
Foster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in alignment with company policies and labor laws.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations, including OSHA standards.
Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, safety awareness, and leadership capabilities.
Manage HR systems and processes, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll, record-keeping, and reporting.
Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures.
Oversee safety initiatives to maintain a secure working environment in the manufacturing plant.
Qualifications of the HR Director :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 7-8 years of HR experience.
Proven ability to lead HR functions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
