Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist :
Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial records.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate inventory and cost accounting records, working closely with the production and procurement teams.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, GAAP standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and variance analysis.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency within the accounting function.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist :
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
1-3 years of accounting experience.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
