We are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial transformation of a mid-market PE-backed building products company based in Southern California that is looking to grow organically and through acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Leadership: Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, driving cross-functional initiatives and long-term planning.
- Build a Rockstar Finance Function: Build a high-performing Finance team with the right skills, capabilities, and motivation.
- Ensure Alignment around the Value Creation Plan: Partner with PE stakeholders to meet financial and operational objectives.
- Lead Financial Systems Transformation: Evaluate, select, and implement new financial systems to drive scalability and efficiency.
- Drive M&A Activities: Oversee bolt-on acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and alignment with overall strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO within product distribution, building products, or related industries.
- Track record of leading finance transformations and system migrations.
- Hands-on M&A experience, including integration and synergy realization.
- Leadership experience in private equity environments, ideally with successful exits.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and business partnering skills.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to the HQ in Southern California.
