The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing global human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This individual will provide strategic leadership and expertise to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), shareholders, and the Board of Directors (BoD) in areas such as succession planning, organizational design, talent management, recruiting, performance management, training and development, labor relations, communications, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, establish, and implement global HR strategies and plans that effectively communicate and support the business mission and strategic vision.
- Function as a strategic business advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) regarding key organizational and management issues.
- Work with the organization’s ELT to establish a sound plan of management succession that aligns with the strategy and objectives of the organization.
- Provide leadership on culture development, employee development, and policy development.
- Manage dotted line reporting structures and global teams to meet stakeholder needs and accomplish organizational objectives.
- Serve as a strategic business partner in mergers and acquisitions, including the due diligence and integration processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
