Job Skills / Requirements
Part-time Armed Security Officers for Multiple Locations in New Orleans
$15 - $17.00 per hour (depending upon Post Assignment)
Applicants must own a personal firearm meeting LA State Board requirements!

- Either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
- Pass a fingerprint background check with the State Police
- Complete necessary security officer classroom training
- Complete firearms training
- Be in good physical condition to complete necessary post assignments, which might include walking, driving, or standing for extended periods of time
- Must present a professional appearance and maintain a professional demeanor
- Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment and understanding of core values such as respect, integrity, and accountability
- Work successfully in either a team-oriented or solo environment
- Available to work rotating shift work (24/7) schedules
- Ability to use sound judgment, decision-making skills, and discretion
- Valid driver license with clean driving record, if assigned post involves use of a vehicle
Responsibilities vary depending on nature of assignment, and may include:
- Conducting mobile or foot patrols of an assigned area or property
- Completing accurate and detailed reports utilizing a web-based reporting system
- Performing access and egress control
- Searching persons, containers, or vehicles
- Performing other duties as requested or required
Full-time employees will be eligible to participate in the benefit plans offered by the Pinnacle Security, under the terms and conditions of those plans.
