Job Title: Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer
Location: Hybrid (Wilmington, MA) Local Candidates Only Duration: 8 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), multi-cloud environments (Oracle & Azure), and platform engineering. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud infrastructure solutions, with a strong emphasis on automation, scripting, and DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, PowerShell, and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and security.
Implement security best practices and compliance standards in Oracle Cloud.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automation processes.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud infrastructure solutions.
10 years of experience in DevSecOps and Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Multi-cloud experience with Oracle and Azure environments.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, PowerShell, Python.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on Oracle Cloud.
Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Terraform, or YAML.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Associate or Professional).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of Oracle database technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Exadata.
Experience implementing security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
