Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud services, along with expertise in scripting, automation, and DevOps practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver value to our organization.

Job Detail:

• Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud infrastructure components, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services.
• Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with application development teams to architect solutions that leverage Oracle Cloud services effectively
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to Oracle Cloud offerings.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients on Oracle Cloud architecture and implementation.

Requirements:

Experience

• 5 years’ Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud infrastructure solutions.
• 10 years’ experience of DevSecOps/Platform Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database offerings.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, on Oracle Cloud.
• Proficient authoring scripts in one or more programming languages. (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Terraform, YAML)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

• Oracle Cloud certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Associate or Professional.
• Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Oracle database technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Exadata.
• Experience implementing security best practices and compliance standards on Oracle Cloud.
