Traffic Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Traffic Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee and manage traffic infrastructure projects and operations in Des Moines, IA. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to traffic systems, including signalization, roadways, and transportation networks.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, implement, and oversee traffic infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

· Manage the installation, and maintenance of traffic signal systems and signage..

· Ensure all traffic infrastructure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

· Evaluate the performance of traffic systems and infrastructure,

· Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources effectively.

· Address and resolve issues related to traffic infrastructure, including system malfunctions and safety concerns.

Qualifications:

· IMSA Level II certification is required.

· Proven experience in traffic infrastructure management.

· Strong knowledge of traffic control systems, road design, and transportation regulations.

· Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

· Proficiency in relevant software and tools for traffic analysis and project management.

· Ability to work effectively with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.

· Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to perform on-site inspections and assessments.

· Capability to work in various environmental conditions and manage project-related physical tasks.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Capable of working in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

· Stamina to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.

· Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
