Responsibilities :
- Supervise fabricators / technicians (currently two employees).
- Maintain and improve manufacturing standards to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with OSHA and industry regulations.
- Verify accuracy of production drawings and improve documentation (SOPs, work instructions).
- Train and cross-train employees as needed.
- Manage production schedules to meet customer requirements and boost productivity.
- Communicate with customers on sales, order specifications, support, and quotes.
- Design products based on existing platforms to meet customer needs.
- Develop electrical panel layouts and control panel designs using AutoCAD.
- Procure materials to support operations.
- Install equipment and train customers when required.
- Provide clear reporting and communication to ownership.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead major projects (e.g., plant layout changes, capital investments).
- Foster a positive work culture and employee motivation.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain accountability to company policies and procedures.
