What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Chemist position at Pinnacle Technologies?
Responsibilities:
- Perform common laboratory procedures such as pH, weighing on analytical balances, glassware prep, equipment calibrations, and reagent preparations.
- Perform routine analytical testing for in-process, finished product, and raw materials utilizing HPLC, GC, UV-Vis.
- Works under direct supervision and selects from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
- Applies basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, materials and equipment, appropriate to areas of specialization.
- Utilizes PC for data entry/retrieval and calculations.
Qualifications:
- General lab experience, handling chemicals, pipetting, using balances, basic math knowledge.
- Preferred skills: HPLC, Carl Fisher
- Chemistry Degree preferred
