Job Title: Paint Technical Service Representative
Duration: 0 – 12 Months Contract
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Mon to Fri)
Location: Bowling Green, KY 42101
Responsibilities:
• Provide 2nd shift technical service assistance, manage mix room (IE: checking viscosities, temperatures, pH, etc.) as needed.
• Ability to track, route and collect data on cars after being painted. This includes but not limited to collecting film build, appearance, colour and other paint related data and compiling it into reports every day to distribute to our customer.
• Do periodic required inventories of all the products we supply.
• Collect data for final line, paint final repair, CARE line, etc. needed.
Qualifications:
• Education – High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Strong technical understanding of paint shops/painting preferred but not a must (We will teach as needed).
• Ability to see colour is a must (IE: Cannot be colour blind).
• Strong proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint a must.
• Strong customer service aptitude and teamwork skills a must.
• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Some Overtime required and a few scheduled Saturdays will be required to work - only a few within a years’ time though.
