As the Facility Coordinator, you are responsible for providing safe and efficient patient transport to and from various patient care destinations. This position plays a key role in the patient care experience by promoting performance improvement for patient safety. Additionally, the role involves managing the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the organization's property and equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier
- Localized travel up to 50% may be required.
- One (1) year of health care maintenance experience.
- Ability to understand basic controls (troubleshooting and programming).
Preferred
- One (1) year patient transport service experience
- Experience working in substance use and/or mental health field.
- HVAC knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Transportation of patients to and from various patient care destinations.
- Maintenance of vehicle(s), including vehicle registration, oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.
- Maintain interior cleanliness of vehicle.
- Completes transportation log daily and maintenance logs when needed.
- General maintenance and repairs of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Ensures that HVAC and heating systems are functional, and filters are changed regularly.
- Performs various work in maintaining the grounds and keeps in clean, orderly manner, including mowing, weeding and general landscaping.
- Performs minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting as needed that does not require a permit or license.
- Assists in ordering general maintenance supplies and keeps storage rooms orderly.
- Assists in light housekeeping duties.
- Serves as a liaison for contractors, vendors, and suppliers to Controller and Program Manager.
- Attend team meetings and complete all training courses as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
