Director of Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and optimize our organization's operational functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care within nursing homes (required), along with expertise in marketing and growth, revenue cycle management, process improvement, budgeting, team leadership, and regulatory compliance. This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and leading strategic initiatives to improve patient outcomes and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and improve overall performance.
  
• Provide leadership and direction across multiple departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational success.
  
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare operations.
  
• Implement training programs for staff to maintain high standards in wound care.
  

Marketing & Growth

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to expand business operations and patient base.
  
• Identify opportunities for growth, including partnerships, service expansions, and new market penetration.
  
• Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
  

Revenue Cycle Management

• Oversee billing, collections, and reimbursement processes to optimize financial health.
  
• Implement revenue cycle improvements to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
  
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and financial planning.
  

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Identify inefficiencies and develop process improvement strategies to enhance workflow.
  
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies such as CMS, HIPAA, and state licensing bodies.
  
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence and risk mitigation.
  
• Implement training programs for staff to maintain high standards in wound care.
  

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

• Develop and manage operational budgets to support organizational goals.
  
• Analyze financial reports and recommend cost-saving measures.
  
• Ensure proper resource allocation to drive financial sustainability.
  

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across various departments.
  
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a strong background in nursing home wound care (Required).
  
• Proven experience in marketing, revenue cycle management, process improvement, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in healthcare software and data analytics tools.
