About Us: Pinnacle is a new, independently owned women’s clothing and accessories boutique located in Washington Depot, Connecticut. Our store will offer a curated mix of high-end fashion for women. We are looking for a passionate, personable, and experienced fashion enthusiast to manage the store and part-time employees, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Overview: The Boutique Manager will oversee daily store operations and ensure a high level of customer service. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, receiving and stocking inventory, visual merchandising, and building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the boutique, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring smooth store functioning.
- Sales Leadership: Set and achieve sales goals, analyze sales trends, and work with the team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage sales associates as needed, ensuring exceptional customer service and strong performance.
- Customer Service: Cultivate relationships with customers, ensuring a personalized shopping experience that aligns with our boutique’s brand and values.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, arrange product displays, and create an inviting shopping environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure adequate product availability.
- Community Engagement: Develop marketing initiatives and community partnerships to promote the boutique and drive foot traffic. Participate in local events and foster relationships within the community.
- Social media/Email marketing: Develop and execute strategies across social media platforms and on email marketing platform.
Qualifications:
- Retail Experience: 3-5 years of retail and/or management experience, preferably in women’s high-end fashion or boutique environments.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with experience in hiring, training, and managing employees.
- Customer-Focused: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Sales-Driven: Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong time management skills, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Visual Merchandising Experience: Understanding of fashion and style, with experience in visual merchandising and maintaining store aesthetics.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and basic Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Shopify or Square POS and Instagram Reels is a plus.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Washington Depot area and a strong network within the community is a bonus.
- Additional Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
