We are looking for a qualified candidate to lead the development and productization of specialized ammunition made for counter drone defense and other uses. In this role you will lead all in-house and outsourced aspects of development, fabrication, testing, and production of specialized ammunition. This is a key role that will have critical impact shaping the trajectory of this project. This position will cover operations based between Waco and Austin, TX, and will expect commitment for on-site presence on an as-needed basis.
Required Skills
- 5 years of hands-on experience with development and/or production of one or more of the following: Pyrotechnic devices, explosives, specialized ammunition, solid rocket propulsion.
- Self-starter, capable of performing tasks as an individual as well as working well in a team.
- Servant-leader mentality, extreme ownership, willing to participate in different and rapidly changing projects in a dynamic environment.
- ITAR REQUIREMENT: To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
