Job description
As a Support Intern, you will engage with many customers across a variety of industries. Your mission is to support our customers to ensure that systems are maintained and functioning properly.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support our customers and field personnel with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in person or by phone, chat, and email channels
- Experience the responsibilities of a Field Service and/or Remote Support Engineers to learn how they approach troubleshooting in their respective area of work
- Manage customer interactions by setting expectations, capturing the issue, resolution and steps taken to troubleshoot, and following up with customers in a timely manner
- Manage electrical/automation projects with direction
- Update and draft documentation with solutions to commonly experienced problems to improve customer satisfaction.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited university
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above with a Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering major in progress
- Experience quickly acquiring new information and skills
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience collaborating with diverse groups, including clients, peers, and managers
