Position Description:
Pioneer Academics seeks a staff member with experience developing and refining business processes, systems, and policies for effectiveness and efficiency in meeting programmatic and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and distributing student and faculty accounts for instructional technology platforms and tools, to include the learning management system (LMS), Web-conferencing platform, and collaboration and presentation tools.
- Maintain organization of students and faculty assigned to appropriate courses, groups, etc. across multiple technology systems including terminations at the conclusion of each program
- Owning the communication process to all students and faculty using various methods to create and communicate important updates, announcements, individual correspondence, and post-program notifications
- Develop and maintain a master program schedule, including live session days and times and relevant staff coverage. Schedule these sessions and associated reminders, as needed, in the relevant technology platforms (i.e., LMS, Web-conferencing platform).
- Monitor program communication channels (e.g., program’s sharing email account, messages through LMS) and respond to or escalate issues according to established policies and protocols. Track and analyze issues and recommend policy and process changes to reduce the prevalence of recurring issues.
- Develop and maintain a range of forms and documentation to monitor student attendance and engagement according to established program policies and objectives.
- Build program content in the learning management system (LMS) according to program guidelines.
- Manage the program’s content catalog (i.e., faculty video lectures, curated readings, third-party videos, etc.).
- Administer program surveys (pre-, mid-, and post-program) to students, faculty, and other stakeholders. Compile and analyze survey data and make recommendations for improvements based on these data.
- Oversee the work of contracted staff serving in program coordination roles.
Administrative Role:
- Own and maintain the Scholar Service management system, ensuring and encouraging all team members to identify and report program service issues that impact the scholar experience
- Monitor to ensure that all assigned individuals work to resolve scholar issues within 24 hours
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate of a prominent American university with a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Student-centric mindset and passion for outstanding education experiences
- Experience collecting and analyzing data to drive process improvements.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills for working with students, faculty and educational administrators
- Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work independently as well as coordinating and supporting a team
- Enthusiasm to collaborate with our academic team to identify opportunities to improve student learning experience and to assist other team members in their work
- Willingness to work during non-regular hours with the international team
