Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Development of the Engine Department:
- Lead the creation and implementation of a structured acquisition and teardown module to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute comprehensive procedures for engine acquisition, teardown, maintenance, and sales.
Team Leadership and Process Optimization:
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team focused on engine acquisition, leasing, and sales.
- Establish robust workflows and best practices to ensure the department meets and exceeds industry standards.
Supplier and Industry Partnership Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with engine suppliers, lessors, and airlines to secure strategic partnerships and favorable terms.
- Represent Pioneer Aero Supply as the primary liaison for external partners and stakeholders.
Quality Oversight:
- Ensure all engines meet or exceed stringent safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
- Oversee thorough inspections, maintenance, and overhaul activities in collaboration with Repair and Quality Assurance teams.
- Establish and maintain robust quality control protocols to uphold the highest industry standards.
- Review and validate technical documentation, including engine inspection and maintenance records, for accuracy and compliance.
Business Growth and Market Leadership:
- Identify new business opportunities in engine sales and leasing to drive revenue growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to create a cohesive and efficient engine division.
- Partner with senior leadership to align the engine department’s initiatives with the company’s long-term objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years proven track record in engine acquisition, leasing, and sales within the aviation industry.
- Industry Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the aviation and engine supply sectors.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of engine inspection, maintenance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in analyzing and validating technical documentation, including engine cycle readings and maintenance records.
- Familiarity with Parts Procurement Worksheets (PPW) and their operational implications.
- Quality Focus:
- Commitment to upholding and enhancing quality assurance standards.
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills to ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.
- Strategic and Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to develop strategies, mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions.
