About the Opportunity
The Legend Operator applies legend (screen print) to the panels and performs a variety of activities such as setting up, cleaning and curing parts as specified on the standard operating procedure (SOP).
What You'll Do:
- Reads and interprets SOP, work instructions on the traveler to verify part number, job number, lot quantity and legend ink type; ensures that the previous operation was completed and that traveler was signed and dated.
- Sets up stencils into the frame for preparation for legend process; Uses alcohol or MEK to clean all flex areas for silkscreen legend process and visually inspects to ensure that the panels are clean and dry
- Checks shelf life of legend ink before use and mixes in accordance with mix ratio table as described on the procedure
- Applies mixed ink on the screen and manually operates the screen printing press table for legend screening process
- Visually inspects the first article panel for any defects, full coverage and ink contamination; verifies registration
- Bakes panels in accordance with bake and cure table as described on the procedure
- Signs and dates traveler, logs job out on ProCIM and move order to next schedule operation
- Assists in training individuals and other team associates as assigned.
- Performs all other duties as needed

- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be available to work 2nd Shift (4:00pm to 12:30am)
Education and Experience:
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred but not required
- General manufacturing experience helpful
Please note that in addition to prolonged standing and constant use of upper extremities, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 pounds, as well as, repetitive hand and finger motion.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

2nd Shift, Monday- Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am
