Production Supervisor
Pioneer College Caterers is adding a Production Supervisor to our food service team at Campbellsville University.
We are a fast paced and lively dining service, on a Christian college campus.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is good at multitasking, is professional in conduct and attire, friendly, and works well with others.
Responsibilities:
- Offer creative menu planning and artistic expression in plate and buffet presentation.
- Management of full-time and student production staff
- Inventory control and ordering, with the Director
- Special event preparation
- Production instructions to cooks
- Accurate and complete production records kept
- Supervision and preparation of all special function meals
- Cleanliness and organization of unit (especially B.O.H., cooler, freezer, etc.)
- Cost Control accountability for
- Food Cost
- Inventory Control
- Production Staff (student and full-time)
- Other tasks as instructed by the Director
Requirements:
1. Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
2. Must be able to work on your feet for the entire length of the shift.
3. Must be able to work in extreme conditions of hot and cold (coolers, freezers, and hot equipment).
4. Must be able to work on potentially hazardous surfaces (i.e., wet floors).
5. Work with and around hazardous chemical solutions, cleaning supplies.
6. Must be able to read and extend standard recipes.
Pay is based on experience.
