Job Description
- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy to students to improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
In this role, you will also support classroom activities by reinforcing communication strategies and skills. You will maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress, collaborate with teachers and families to facilitate communication support, and assist in preparing materials and resources for speech and language activities.
Requirements
- Must be certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Must have an active Speech Language Pathology Assistant licensure in the state of work assignment.
