What you'll do
As an ARNP, you will be a member of our Behavioral Health treatment team, and have overall medical and/or psychiatric responsibility for monitoring client’s treatment and staff delivery of clinical services. The ARNP provides medical and psychiatric assessments, medication management and treatment, clinical supervision, education, training and development for the team. You will serve as the primary medical and/or psychiatric specialist for the treatment team. You will provide all staff with sound guidance pertaining to behavioral health disorders. You conduct assessment/diagnostic interviews as requested by the treatment team. You will prescribe medication when indicated and regularly review individual function to ensure proper administration, decided on the continuation or discontinuation of prescribed medication. These medications will include the induction and ongoing monitoring of Suboxone (Buprenorphine). You will perform symptom monitoring and management and adjust prescriptions as necessary. As the ARNP you will document assessments, medication reviews and prescriptions utilizing DSMS and/or ICD10 diagnostic nomenclature. You will maintain a medical medication chart and develop individualized care plans and ensure appropriate follow up.
- Must be licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in good standing.
- CPR Certification
- Previous experience providing medical services.
- 2 years’ experience working with persons of color, sexual minorities and vulnerable population.
Preferably you'll bring
- Experience treating adult and older adult populations strongly preferred.
- 3 years’ experience as a Medical or Psychiatric provider for crisis and detox programs
