Regional Sales Manager – EDU West/Central
Location: Remote. Preferred locations: TX, AZ, NM, UT, CO West/Central US
Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability for Gumdrop and Brenthaven in the education market and a team of sales account representatives dedicated to the same region.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a success plan to drive sales and profit growth for assigned brands within the designated territory, leveraging our extensive partner channels, including OEM and resellers
• Lead, manage, coach, and develop the assigned sales team to maximize performance and achieve targets
• Engage with K12 customers, resellers, and OEM partners to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, solidifying our brands as their product of choice
• Oversee the end-to-end process of strategic deals, from lead generation to successful closure, ensuring accurate deal registration and pipeline management
• Prioritize and manage leads and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with customer needs
• Manage sample strategy in alignment with company goals
• Provide accurate pipeline management and sales forecasting
• Provide valuable market insights to R&D and Marketing teams to inform and refine overall strategy.
• Represent the company at reseller, OEM, and industry events, including trade shows, to enhance brand presence and relationships.
• Collaborate with internal demand planning and operations teams to forecast and win large, complex opportunities.
Required Skills and Competencies:
• Collaborative, results-oriented sales manager with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• Proven track record in sales management
• Ability to execute company priorities proactively
• Effective team player with ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally
• Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4 years experience working remote as a sales manager managing a sales team
• Experience selling to K12 customers through channel partners
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Effective at running territory mapping and pipeline review calls
• Ability to understand data, run reports, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience utilizing Salesforce preferred
• Approximately 60% travel required
