Position Title: IT Systems Technician (Part Time)
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
The IT Systems Technician position is scheduled to work approximately 24-28 hours per week, primarily during regular business hours and at the company’s offices in Hillsboro, Oregon. The position will support a variety of technology needs within the family of companies, ranging from delivering excellent remote and in-person desktop support for hosted software platforms to approximately 120 users via our ticketing system, configuring and provisioning PCs and Macs, perform routine maintenance, updates and security patches, maintaining organized documentation and carrying out other user, network, or hosted platform tasks as assigned by the Director of IT.
The scope of work may include improving usability and leveraging tools for new purposes; making recommendations for technical solutions such as patches, upgrades, or enhancements; participating in projects such as system reconfiguration or hardware replacements; researching and streamlining tool application for users; providing technical training to users; assisting with development or delivery of training presentations; installing upgrades; streamlining IT orders and tracking; and more.

Responsibilities
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
- Provide desktop hardware configuration and remote desktop support
- Remote and local support installing applications and computer peripherals
- Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
- Record technical issues and solutions in logs
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional
- Document thoroughly each ticket resolution and user hardware/software request
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
- Support and understand Pioneer’s primary and secondary systems (including Monday.com, Dropbox, Quickbase, Slack, Zapier, Front, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, SharpSpring, PageProof, Canva, Quotient, Mailchimp, Certify, Accounting Seed, Sharefile, Password Management Applications, etc.)
- Maintain availability by phone, chat or text during scheduled working hours to support critical IT developments
- Other IT-related duties as assigned

Required
- Associate’s degree in technology or related field.
- Two or more years in similar roles, demonstrating the responsibilities outlined above across multiple platforms.
- Proof of ongoing professional development, classes and/or certifications demonstrating continuous learning.
- Experience may be substituted for higher education (if applicable).

Additional Notes
1. Compensation will be dependent on a variety of factors including experience and geography and will be discussed in the hiring process with leading candidate(s). The compensation range will be $22-$25/hour.

3. This position will be subject to the following physical demands:
a. Sitting or standing at desk for approximately 75% of any given workday.
b. Walking, lifting, moving, or carrying 30lbs. (configuring PCs at workstations, unpacking received computing equipment, etc.) for approximately 10% of any given workday.
c. The ability to meet basic physical demands of travel (if necessary); however, no significant travel is anticipated for this position
Retirement Benefits
Subject to other eligibility requirements, employees working 20 hours or more per week are generally eligible for our 401(k)-retirement program through Vanguard beginning with the first of the month after six months of employment. The company contributes a safe harbor match of 3% of your pay, with discretionary / profit-sharing contributions likely following successful budgetary years.

- This position at less than 30 hours per week is not eligible for our healthcare plan.
- So long as your scheduled work hours remain at or above 20 per week, your eligibility to join our dental and vision coverages begins the first of the month after your start date.
Holiday and PTO

Pioneer provides full time staff with 12 paid holidays per year (all federal holidays plus the day after Thanksgiving), and a PTO plan that starts at an accrual rate of four weeks per year. Holiday and PTO benefits are prorated for part-time staff.
Mobile Device Reimbursement
For qualifying positions, Pioneer provides up to $45/month of reimbursement for mobile phone expenses, prorated for part-time employees.
