What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mid FMS Acquisition Analyst position at Pioneering Evolution?
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
Pioneering Evolution is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional with extensive experience in acquisition and contract management to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract generation, award, and lifecycle management, with a comprehensive understanding of the FMS case management phases-Pre-Letter of Request (LOR), Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) Development, Case Execution, and Case Closure. The preferred candidate will live in the Washington D.C. metro area as this hybrid position does require coming into the client site and Pioneering Evolution Headquarters in Crystal City, VA at least 3 times a week.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
- Must have Acquisition and Contract Experience.
- FMS contract generation experience including award and management.
- Knowledge of FMS Case phases (Pre-LOR, LOA Development, Case Execution, and Case Closure) i.e. cradle to grave Case Management.
- Ability to attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and / or electronic communications as required.
- Ability to track funds retrieved through the Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL) financial database as the standard method of payment for FMS.
- Experience developing presentations, meeting minutes, letter and memoranda and tracking action items.
- Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales management and financial systems, including MISIL.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.).
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
