Essential Functions
- Process all Surgery requisitions/orders and add items as needed.
- Responsible for weekly/monthly reports.
- Coordinate the weekly inventory counts as well as year-end inventory counts. Research and correct and discrepancies found on inventory reports.
- Oversee and assist with expiration date reporting.
- Manage the MFP and FedEx supplies.
- Act as the O.R. contact for requisition orders.
- Work with the Buyer to process orders as needed.
- Back up the Stock and Receiving clerk as needed.
- Process the vendor orders for the Surgery department.
- Maintain files, answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate parties.
- Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and safety within all designated areas of the facility.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous working experience with inventory, purchasing, and receiving preferred.
- Previous working experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficient computer skills necessary, such as Microsoft Excel required.
