Job Description :
- Perform routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures utilizing radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Conduct radionuclide imaging of organs, organ systems, compartments, physiologic functions, assays of body fluids, tissues, and radio bioassays.
- Demonstrate and apply knowledge of Nuclear Medicine imaging and principles of radiation safety.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures using established Nuclear Medicine protocols to achieve the highest quality images.
- Follow protocols specified by the radiologist and educate patients, collect patient history, and communicate patient information to the radiologist.
- Enter complex data into computer systems and review, verify, and evaluate images to ensure technical and image quality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
