About the Role:
As an ER RN , you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Minimum Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in emergency nursing (CEN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Experience with trauma patients
- Experience with pediatric patients
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency department
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
