Estimating Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive estimates and proposals for welded pipe operations across various industries, including refineries, pipelines, power generation, and water works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze isometric drawings, proposal specifications, and technical data to accurately estimate labor and material costs for piping projects.
- Prepare professional proposals that effectively communicate project scope, pricing, and value proposition to clients.
- Summarize technical data for upper management to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Utilize our state-of-the-art estimating software to streamline the proposal process.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver quick estimates under tight deadlines.
- Coordinate with production team to manage applicable change orders for awarded projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years or more experience in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in estimating or project management within the piping industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the petrochemical, power, water, or general construction industries.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
