Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Estimator to join our construction team. This role involves assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of concrete mixes according to project specifications.
- Pour, spread, and finish concrete using various tools and equipment.
- Set up and dismantle forms for concrete structures.
- Ensure proper handling and placement of materials on construction sites.
- Collaborate with project managers and other laborers to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for project tracking and documentation.
- Support cost control measures by accurately reporting material usage and project progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction field is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, project management, and cost control is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand contract specifications.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and tools related to concrete work.
