Job Description
Position Overview
This position involves leading and coordinating projects in field and/or shop locations, ensuring that all procedures are followed and assigned employees are performing their duties as directed.
Responsibilities
- Instructs and directs personnel to work safely and efficiently.
- Covers assigned projects and work schedules with department foreman and/or superintendent.
- Recommends improvements in programs, procedures, and personnel to increase job/project quality and efficiency.
- Supervises the progress of assigned jobs/projects each day to ensure safety and proper working conditions on the job site.
- Maintains adequate records regarding time cards, materials, supplies, and reports as required.
- Reports any problems or issues with assigned projects, equipment needs, material defects, safety hazards, and/or personnel to department foreman and/or superintendent.
Requirements
This role requires a high school education or equivalent training and at least 5 years of related practical experience in the application of this knowledge.
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
The employee will be required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must also comply with PCM Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and regulations, as well as all governmental regulations.
