Role Description
The Inside Sales Representative at Pipeline Plastics is a full-time, onsite position that will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and revenue generation. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, driving business development within the territory, and providing exceptional customer service. It requires a proactive and results-driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls/emails, create quotes, and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Provide pricing and availability of products to customers.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.
- Utilize various sales techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking, to engage potential customers and generate leads.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and recommend suitable HDPE pipe solutions to meet their specifications.
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
- Using the company's CRM system, keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics.
- Develop a deep understanding of HDPE pipe products, applications, and specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitive products to effectively position the company's offerings in the market.
- Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and sales insights with the Outside Sales Director to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience supporting a manufacturing operation
- Piping system knowledge preferred
- Inside Sales and Account Management skills
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
- Experience in lead generation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced office environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
