Responsibilities of the DR Project Manager include:
- Overseeing the creation and management of the comprehensive project plan for the Disaster Recovery program, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Leading collaborative efforts across IT, business units, and external partners to guarantee the successful execution of the program.
- Monitoring and managing issues, risks, dependencies, and escalations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Acting as the main point of contact with the external partner responsible for DR assessment, solution design, and implementation.
- Delivering regular status reports to IT and business leadership, including risk evaluations and progress updates.
- Experience leading IT disaster recovery or business continuity programs in a healthcare environment.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Expertise in vendor and partner management.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and NIST frameworks related to disaster recovery.
- Proficiency in risk management, issue tracking, and executive-level reporting.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CBCP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.
- Rate: $65-$78 an hour, depending on experience
