Piper Companies is seeking an Operations Manager, Technical Services in Lynwood, CA to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in growth mode and support oversight of day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee day to day operations in the areas of filling and secondary packaging.
- Manage daily / monthly production goal setting and operational attainment.
- Strategically identify CAPEX for machinery to match production plan.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures to enhance productivity and quality.
- Generate / Manage SOPs to govern Pharmaceutical Operation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational performance.
- Utilize operational excellence tools such as 6-sigma, 5-S, etc. to develop industry class operation. Prepare and maintain production reports and other communication for senior management.
- Monitor and review the performance of staff and issue corrective action as needed.
- Create and manage production budgets.
- Able to initiate deviations and investigations for manufacturing processes when required.
