Piper Companies is seeking an Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) to join an innovative, growth-oriented, and impactful small company located in Durham, NC through a Hybrid work schedule. The Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) will serve as the Deputy Product Manager for the entire company, taking full responsibility for all product management activities related to Growers.

Responsibilities of the Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to identify impactful improvements and align the product vision with company goals.
  • Gain deep knowledge of the product, understand user interactions and workflows, and document features and processes for stakeholders.
  • Execute the product roadmap, prioritize tasks and development backlog, and conduct feature discovery with internal teams.
  • Work with UX designers and engineers to ensure designs meet business needs, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and support the development process.
  • Oversee the product from inception to release, maintaining release notes and ensuring smooth end-to-end management.

Qualifications for the Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) include:

  • Minimum of 4 years of overall professional experience, with at least 2 years specializing in Product Management or Product Ownership.
  • Proven experience managing and developing external/customer-facing products.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Figma and experience working with UI/UX design teams.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst is a plus.
  • Must work onsite 2 days a week in Durham, NC.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation for the Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) include:

  • $120-140,000
  • Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
