Project Manager - RNG

Position Overview:

The RNG Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and execution of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects, with a focus on Dairy Anaerobic Digestion (AD) systems. This role requires a strong engineering background and experience in managing diverse projects, including pipeline, civil, electrical, and mechanical work. The Project Manager will collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of RNG projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Design & Planning:
• Lead the design and planning of RNG projects, utilizing AutoCAD for layouts, schematics, and detailed designs. Ensure that all designs meet engineering standards and project specifications.
• Engineering Coordination:
• Work closely with civil, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams to integrate different disciplines into cohesive project plans. Apply a strong engineering background to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Project Management:
• Oversee the full lifecycle of RNG projects, from initiation through execution and completion. Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and contractors to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
• Pipeline & Civil Work:
• Manage projects that include pipeline installation, civil construction, and infrastructure development to support RNG production and distribution.
• Dairy RNG Projects:
• Lead the development of Dairy Anaerobic Digestion projects within the RNG sector. Coordinate the design, engineering, and execution phases, ensuring the projects meet technical and regulatory standards.
• Vendor & Contractor Management:
• Select, negotiate with, and oversee vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of materials and services. Facilitate strong communication and coordination to keep projects on track.
• Project Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, engineering specs, project schedules, and cost reports. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and key milestones.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• 5 years of project management experience in the RNG or energy industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Strong understanding of pipeline, civil, and RNG project development.
• Experience with Dairy AD projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
