About the Opportunity
A fast-growing, internationally backed renewable energy developer is expanding its U.S. operations and is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the execution of multiple utility-scale solar and battery storage projects . This is a unique opportunity to join a lean but ambitious team with a significant U.S. pipeline, long-term investment backing, and aggressive growth goals through 2030.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of major clean energy infrastructure projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable projects (200–250 MW), from pre-construction through COD
- Lead project planning, budgeting (~$300M per project), scheduling, and risk mitigation
- Coordinate with EPCs, vendors, landowners, local authorities, and internal cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance, M&A)
- Ensure all project milestones are met on-time, on-budget, and with full regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular site visits (approx. 40% travel) to monitor progress and resolve issues on the ground
- Track project KPIs, financial performance, and provide detailed reporting to executive leadership
- Lead project close-out including punch list management, testing, and final documentation
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in renewable energy project management (solar PV required; BESS preferred)
- Demonstrated success managing utility-scale infrastructure projects across multiple sites
- Deep knowledge of EPC contracting, permitting, interconnection, and construction workflows
- Strong commercial and budget management acumen (P&L experience a plus)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (Master’s a plus)
- OSHA certification required; PMP or equivalent required
- Based in Austin or open to relocation; must be comfortable with regular travel in Texas.
