Piper Sandler is currently seeking an intern for Summer 2025 in our Technology Business Line. This intern would work directly with the Chief Information Security Officer and the Information Security Team in Minneapolis, MN. Our human capital, technology, marketing and other corporate support teams work with our business partners to maximize each employee. Responsibilities:
- Respond to minor security events and escalate as needed
- Assist with identifying, tracking and mitigating security vulnerabilities
- Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats
- Participate in security audits, including evidence collection and user control considerations
- Assist with the implementation and management of security tools and technologies
- Aid in the creation and maintenance of security documentation, including incident reports
- Learn, contribute to, and enforce functional policies, procedures and best practices
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Detail oriented
- Working knowledge of standard software applications, i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

The anticipated salary for Minnesota-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $21 per hour. Placement within this range is dependent upon education level & years of experience.
