Objective : Deliver feed in a professional manner that meets expectations of our shareholders and producers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Deliver feed to multiple locations while driving with caution to ensure the safety of yourself as well as the equipment you are using.
- Ensure the semi is safe for each trip by conducting a pre-trip check
- Have the ability to unhook trailers and hook up to another safely and efficiently.
- Operate the equipment on the trailer such as tarps and cranks
- Washing / disinfecting trailers entirely after use
- Perform basic routine maintenance to semi-tractor and trailer
- Compile with DOT standards for log books and adequate logs for billing purposes

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education :
High School education or GED
Experience :
Driving experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements :
Standing, walking and driving semi
Frequent bending, reaching, squatting and kneeling
Frequent use of one or both hands / arms to grasp or pull
Frequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 pounds
Occasional bending while pulling and / or lifting objects
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths
Additional Requirements :
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation. CDL required
Compensation, Pay & Benefits :
Compensation rate of $18-$28 hour, depending on experience
