Join our growing family today!   Piping Rock Health Products is searching for an Energetic, hands-on, experienced Shipping and Receiving Lead to join our growing team. The shipping and Receiving lead is responsible for leading all Shipping and Receiving functions and must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and efficiency of the operation.                Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in Shipping and receiving Receives finished goods from loading area and performs quality checks including communicating with the office and Team Reviews work orders to ensure proper process is being followed Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines Assists with all job functions in the Shipping and Receiving area Analyze work orders to ensure efficient task assignment associates in shipping and receiving /hi-lo drivers Assist in identifying areas for training and development of associates Maintain 100% cGMP & Compliance during complete distribution center operation Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance Other duties as assigned   Qualifications: Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training Must have 2 years of experience in a warehouse or Shipping and receiving environment and at least 1-year leading associates Must be able to read/write English Must be available for overtime when needed Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions Must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task Familiarity with Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems High school diploma or equivalency preferred Must be able to lift 50lbs Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
