What you’ll do
The Hospitality Trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting comprehensive training programs for our venue staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and training, with a passion for developing talent and ensuring consistent, high-quality service across all our venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing staff, focusing on customer service, hospitality best practices, and company policies.
- Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and create customized training solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training materials and methods.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff to ensure the application of training in daily operations.
- Maintain training records and track employee progress.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Training and Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality or a similar industry, with at least 2 years in a training role.
- Experience building out LMS modules and training paths
- Strong knowledge of hospitality standards, customer service principles, and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) or similar certification or experience.
- Experience in venue management or event planning.
