Position title: Final Finish Coordinator
Reporting to: Quality Manager
Job Purpose:
As the Final Finishing Coordinator in our tire manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the final stages of tire production. You will be responsible for ensuring that our tires meet quality standards, are properly finished, and ready for distribution to our customers. While managing all personnel and equipment within the final finish area.
Main Responsibilities:
Role activities include, but are not limited to:
- Uphold a culture of safety and compliance with regulatory requirements by enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies including Sustainability, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems
- Ensures the adherence of information and documentation process as related to the control plan, quality operating procedures, legal and customer requirements.
- Supervise and lead a team of final finishing associates to ensure efficient operation and adherence to production schedules, including assessments with the intention of promoting clear and consistent communication with all team members.
- Coordinate with production planners and quality control teams to prioritize workload and address any quality issues.
- Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for final finishing techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Act as a liaison between MIRS, Finishing, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure proper maintenance and calibration of finishing equipment.
- To verify possible defects on the different phases of the MIRS modules
- Responsible for the entry, analysis and reporting of quality systems data to support the operative functions of the quality department.
- Responsible for all MSA activities in final finish including statistical studies, calibration schedules, training on use of calibrated measuring devices.

- Extensive MIRS process knowledge along with knowledge of machinery capabilities and robotics
- Knowledge of quality standards and capabilities of MIRS and Finishing department machinery
- Ability to think analytically and problem solve in order to contain non-conforming product and address root cause
- Creating and understanding statistical analysis as pertained to gauge studies and trend analysis
Skills & Competences:
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Basic computer skills; Windows, MS/Office
- Six Sigma or SPC training, preferred
- 2 year degree or relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
- Must be able to pass Blind Test.
