Key Responsibilities:
As a Nursing Adjunct Instructor (RN), you will:
- Teach and inspire nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings.
- Lead instruction in core nursing subjects such as Pediatrics, Anatomy & Physiology (A&P), Basic Nursing Skills (BNS), Advanced Nursing Skills (ANS), Pharmacology, Nutrition, Gerontology, and more.
- Provide specialized instruction in areas like Pediatrics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal Health (Ob/Gyn), Clinical Instruction, and more.
- Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance with current healthcare standards and best practices.
- Mentor students in clinical settings, fostering skill development, professional growth, and academic success.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, offering constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a high-quality learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in nursing education, OR
- 2 years of recent direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in Pediatrics, Critical Care Nursing, and Nursing Leadership.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create innovative teaching methods that engage and motivate students.
