Position Overview:
PITC Institute is seeking passionate and experienced Nutrition Instructors to join our educational team. We offer both day and evening classes and are looking for instructors to teach our Nutrition course. The Nutrition Instructor will be responsible for providing quality education to students, fostering their development in the classroom, and preparing them for successful careers in health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess classroom lectures and practical sessions in accordance with the nutrition curriculum.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to support their academic and professional growth.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and administration to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Stay updated with current nutrition practices, research, and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field required.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of nutritional science and its application in health settings.
