We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Technology, to play a crucial role in the analysis and development of a transactional order data store across different asset classes. You will collaborate with Trading Desks (Equity, Option, Fixed Income, Mutual Fund and Structured Products), Compliance/Legal and Technology Teams. The successful candidate will be instrumental from analysis, documentation, solution inception through to ongoing maintenance, covering a wide array of trading aspects and system integrations. This role encompasses the analysis and support of new technology solutions and processes, enhancements of existing systems, including workflow and data flow design. Responsibilities include leading requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, user testing facilitation, and contributing to the development and maintenance of processes and procedures. This position is a blend of project and maintenance development, located at our corporate headquarters in Saint Petersburg, FL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge of the Financial Services industry, front, middle, and back-office experience and an understanding of an order/trade life cycle Domain Expertise: Must have knowledge of building and maintaining of high volume, mission critical data stores Technical Proficiency: Required experience with Agile methodology, SQL, JSON, and other relevant technologies.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to define detailed business and technical requirements.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to gather, share, and articulate information.
- Utilize design-thinking to co-create and bring experiences to life.
- Convert requirements into detailed user stories to guide development and testing.
- Manage and prioritize the application backlog for sprint planning.
- Use data analysis to inform decisions.
- Agile Facilitation: Lead Scrum ceremonies, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop customized solutions based on client data analysis.
- Drive practice management improvements by working with various departments.
- Apply principles effectively to manage risks and changes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
- Team collaboration is essential.
Required:

- Collaborate with Trading Desks (Equity, Option, Fixed Income, Mutual Fund and Structured Products), Compliance/Legal and Technology Teams.
- Instrumental from analysis, documentation, solution inception through to ongoing maintenance, covering a wide array of trading aspects and system integrations.
- Analysis and support of new technology solutions and processes, enhancements of existing systems, including workflow and data flow design.
- Experience with FIX, FpML message formats.
Salary : $70 - $83
